Wood Effect LED Alarm Clock, Cube or Rectangle

This clock stays dark until you make a noise at it, and that one behavior decides whether you will get on with it. The display sleeps to save power and wakes when the room goes above 60 dB, which is roughly a clap, a cough, or a hand slapped on a nightstand.

The cube is about the size of a stack of sticky notes and shows one line at a time. The rectangle is nearly twice as long and has the room to show the time, the temperature, and the humidity together, which is the reason to pick it.

Good to know

It runs on AAA batteries or over USB, and neither the batteries nor a cable is listed as included. On batteries the sound activation is what makes the charge last; on USB you can leave the display on, which is the setup most people end up with.

The material line says wooden pattern rather than wood. Read that as a printed grain on a molded body, not a block of timber, and judge the price on the display rather than the material. If solid wood is what you are after, this is not it.
