A fabric grow bag folds over the moment you lift the plant out of it, which makes repotting a two person job. This pouch is stiffened kraft paper with a waterproof layer inside, so it holds its shape empty and stays open while you work.
It goes over a plastic nursery pot on a desk or a shelf, and it also works as a catch all for cables, brushes, or a small plant that has not been potted yet.

Measure the nursery pot, not the plant. A pot from a garden center six pack drops into the small at 3.9 in (10 cm). The large at 6.3 in (16 cm) takes the black plastic pot that a supermarket houseplant comes home in, with a little room to tuck the rim down.

Good to know
The lining stops a leak, it does not make this a pot. There is no drainage, so a plant potted straight into it sits in whatever you pour in. Keep the plant in its plastic pot, keep the pouch as the cover, and tip the runoff out at the sink.
Paper also stops being stiff once it gets properly wet from the outside. This belongs indoors, on a desk or a shelf, not on a windowsill that gets rain through an open sash.
