Wall Mounted Key Rack with Mail Tray

Keys end up wherever your hands were free: the counter, the sofa, the pocket of yesterday's coat. A rack by the door only fixes that if it also catches the post, and this one pairs a shallow wood fronted tray with five hooks along the bottom edge.

Read the depth before anything else. The tray is 1.18 in (3 cm) front to back, which holds a few envelopes, a pen, and a phone standing on edge. It does not hold a stack of magazines, and it was never going to at 7.08 in (18 cm) wide.

Good to know

The marketing copy calls it solid hardwood. The spec line calls it plastic and wood, and the photos agree with the spec line: a wood face on a molded body. At this size that is the right call, since a solid block would be heavier than the wall fixing deserves.

Nothing confirms what ships with it. The parts list names the rack alone, while a product photo shows adhesive pads and screws, so have a set of small wall plugs on hand rather than counting on the box. The hooks take keys, lanyards, and a dog leash; a wet winter coat is asking too much of a piece this size.
