Tassels are the first part of a knitted throw to fail, usually inside a washing machine on a fast spin, where they wrap around each other and come out as felted rope. Wash this one in a duvet cover or a mesh bag and the corners survive the winter.
It is a knitted throw in cotton and acrylic, plain dyed in one color, with a tassel at each corner.

Care
Machine wash, then dry it flat. A knit this size holds water, and hanging it wet over a rail stretches the whole thing into a longer, sadder blanket that never comes back.
A solid color reads calm next to a patterned couch and does very little next to a plain one. If your sofa is already flat gray, the throw is the color in the room, so pick the one you would notice from the doorway.
