It is a glass decanter shaped as a horse head, sized for whiskey, bourbon or brandy and built to stay out where you can see it.

Materials
Glass, which shows the color of what is inside and every fingerprint on the outside. The sculpted neck and muzzle are the reason it looks good and the reason it is awkward to clean.
Care
Wash by hand with warm water and a long bottle brush, then dry the inside instead of leaving it to air. Spirits keep in glass, they do not improve in it, so pour in what you plan to drink soon rather than filling it and forgetting it.
