The flame bulb is what sells this one. Instead of a flat LED behind frosted plastic, it uses a flicker shaped bulb that moves the way a real fire does, and the whole scene is built around it: two white ghosts sitting on logs, marshmallow sticks held out over the flame. It plugs straight into the wall with no cord to run.

Care
Unplug it before you touch it with a cloth, and dust it dry. Painted resin does not want a wet wipe working into the crevices around the logs.
Good to know
A flicker bulb throws warm, moving light and not much of it, which is the point in a hallway at two in the morning and a disappointment if you expected it to light a room. It also does not switch itself on at dusk: the switch is on the unit, so it stays on until you reach down and turn it off.
