Highland cattle are mostly fringe, and a plush that skips it stops looking like a Highland cow and starts looking like a bear. This one keeps the fringe hanging over the eyes, adds small brown horns and a brown muzzle, and stands 15.8 in (40 cm) tall. It comes in vanilla and cocoa.

Size

15.8 in (40 cm) tall, which is about the height of a table lamp on a nightstand. It fills the corner of a bed or the end of a sofa rather than perching on a shelf.

Care

Surface wash by hand and let it air dry away from a radiator. Finger comb the fringe while it dries, because that is the patch that felts first.

Good to know

The fringe mats where hands hold it, right at the top of the head. Work it loose every few weeks and it stays soft; leave it a year and it sets into a solid patch you cannot brush out.
