Care
Wipe the sealing strip after anything wet. Residue baked onto that strip is the usual reason a seal opens two days later in the freezer.
Good to know
At 10 to 20 seconds a bag, this suits a weeknight batch rather than a whole side of beef. Soup and loose liquid belong in a container: a handheld pump has no trap, and liquid drawn into the motor is how these units end their careers.
