Size
The bowl holds just under 1 quart (1 L). That is a salad for two, or the cheese for one tray of nachos, and then you empty it and go again. For a family dinner, plan on two or three rounds rather than one.
Care
Rinse the bowl and the blades straight after use. Grated cheese sets into blade slots within the hour and needs a brush and patience after that. Keep water off the motor housing.
Good to know
Hard cheese and raw carrot are about the limit of what a battery motor this size takes comfortably. It is a prep tool, not a food processor, and a cold lump of parmesan straight out of the fridge will slow it down.
Charge it before dinner rather than during. A battery tool that quits halfway through a bowl of coleslaw is worse than the grater you were avoiding, because the grater never quits.
