A desk lamp is the one object on a desk that nobody looks at twice, which is a waste of the only lit thing in the room. Care

Dust the feather texture with a dry brush. Cast resin holds dust deep in the grooves, and a damp cloth mostly moves it around and dries as a streak across the back.
