A row of hooks by the door disappears under coats within a week. That is fine at the back of a hallway and much less fine in a room people sit in. This one carries two birds perched along it, so there is something to look at on the days nothing is hanging from it.
Cast in resin, mounted on the wall, and small enough to go beside a doorframe or between two picture frames rather than across a whole wall.
- Cast resin, wall mounted
- Two birds perched on the piece
- Takes scarves, tote bags and light jackets
- Three sizes, or the set
Size
The small measures 5.7 x 7.9 in (14.5 x 20 cm), roughly the footprint of a paperback held flat against the wall. Hold a hand up where it will go before you drill. At that size it wants a narrow stretch of wall, next to a door or between two frames, and it will look stranded in the middle of a bare one.
Care
Dust the carved detail with a dry brush and keep a wet cloth off it. Water sits in the grooves of cast resin and dries as a pale line along every edge it touched.
Good to know
Resin is not a load rated hook. A scarf, a tote bag, a light jacket: fine. A soaked wool coat or a backpack with a laptop in it wants a steel hook screwed into a stud, and no quantity of birds changes the physics.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
