A hallway lit from the ceiling flattens everything under it, faces included. Light coming off a wall at head height does the opposite, and this lays down a small pool of it: a sculpted angel holding a lantern out on an arm, with cut crystal drops hanging around the frame.
The finish is an antique metallic, nearer aged bronze than bright metal, so it sits against a painted wall without the hard edge a chrome fixture brings into a room.

Care
Dust the crystal drops with a dry brush and leave the finish alone. A wet cloth leaves marks on an antiqued surface that will not wipe back out.

Treat it as an accent. A lantern this size lays a glow on the wall around it and leaves the far end of a hallway to the ceiling fixture, so plan it alongside other light rather than instead of it.
It reads classical: robes, wings, cut crystal. In a room of flat white walls and steel legs it will look like it wandered in from a different house.
