What stops most people hanging a sconce is the wiring behind it. This one runs off USB, so the only decision left is where the cable goes: a molded resin relief of Archangel Michael, sword raised over a defeated figure, with warm light coming through the wings and out of the bracket at the bottom.

At 7.87 x 4.72 in (20 x 12 cm) the panel is smaller than a sheet of letter paper. Hung at eye height beside a door or above a low shelf it holds its own; hung on a wide empty wall it looks like it is waiting for company.

USB power means a visible cable unless there is a socket behind furniture or a shelf below it. Work out the run before you drill. The light itself is decorative: it throws a warm halo onto the wall around the wings and reads beautifully in a dim hallway, and it disappears entirely with the ceiling light on.
Care
Dust the sculpted detail with a dry brush; a cloth only rides over the high points and packs the rest in tighter. Keep solvents and all purpose sprays off the finish, which is applied color over resin rather than metal.
