Good to know
Sun, not daylight. A panel this small needs hours of direct light to fill, so a frog set on a shaded porch or under a dense shrub charges badly and gives up early in the evening. Put it out in the open, or accept a short glow.
Winter shortens every run, and a film of dust or pollen on the panel shortens it further. That is the first thing to check when one of these seems to have died.
Care
Wipe the panel with a damp cloth every few weeks and rinse the resin down with a hose. Bring it inside if your winters freeze hard, because water that works into a crack and then freezes will open the crack wider.
