Good to know

Angular vases are harder to arrange in than round ones. A wide flat mouth lets stems slide to the edges and splay, so either crowd it with enough stems to hold each other upright, or set a pin frog in the base. Three tulips in a vase this shape will look like an accident.

Care

Rinse and dry it by hand. Glaze on an angled piece collects a water line right at the shoulder, where a cloth cannot follow the curve, so keep a bottle brush with it.
