Good to know
Trim the print before you frame it. The opening is a circle and a scan print is a rectangle with a wide black border, so you cut in to the part that actually shows the baby. Do that with a copy: ask for two prints at the appointment and keep the first one flat in an envelope.
Care
Keep it off a sunny sill. Direct light fades a scan print faster than anything else in the room, and wood sitting in a hot window will cup over time.
