A pot that rocks is a pot that moves, which is charming on a desk and a problem on a narrow shelf. Set it back from the edge and it does the one thing it is built to do: nudge it and the whole little figure tips and settles.

The pot itself is a rounded body with a face on the front and legs hanging over the front of the rocking base. The plant goes in the top, so the greenery reads as hair.

Good to know

Water it over a sink, not in place. Anything that rocks will find a tilt while it is full, and a wet base on a rocking planter means the water goes over the side rather than into the soil. A cactus or a succulent suits it best, because both want a small drink and long dry spells anyway.

Care
