Colored glass eats light. That is the trade every mosaic lamp makes, and it is worth knowing before this owl arrives: the glass takes most of the output and gives back a warm patterned glow across the nearest wall.
So it is a lamp you look at rather than read by. It sits on a side table, a desk or a shelf in a study, and the pieces of glass shift color as you move past it.
- Mosaic style stained glass across an owl silhouette
- Colored panels throw patterned light onto the nearest surface
- Warm glow, closer to a night light than a task lamp
- Feather detail built from the shapes of the glass pieces
Specifications
- Power: USB
- Light: Warm LED bulb, included
- Size: 6.5 in high, 4 in wide
Good to know
Put it somewhere with a plain surface behind it. Against a bare wall the pattern lands and the lamp doubles in size; against a bookcase it disappears into the spines and you get the owl and nothing more.
Care
Dust it dry, with a brush rather than a cloth. Every seam between the glass pieces is a channel that catches dust, and a damp cloth drags grit along the joints instead of lifting it out.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
