Real orchids sulk. They drop their blooms when a radiator turns on and spend the next year as three bare stems in a pot by the window. This one is artificial: orchid stems and open blooms rising out of a round marbled globe that lights up from inside.
The globe is the lamp. Light comes up through it and catches the petals from below, so the flowers read as lit rather than the bulb reading as a bulb. One button sits on the metal base.

Good to know
Give it a surface where the flowers are seen from the side and slightly below: a nightstand, a vanity, the end of a console. On a high shelf you look up into the globe and lose the blooms entirely, which is the half of the object doing the work.
Care
The stems are fixed where they are, so styling it is a matter of turning the whole thing rather than arranging anything. Dust the petals with a soft dry brush and leave the globe to a dry cloth.
