Fit
Match it to the mattress, not to the headboard. A Queen wedge on a Full bed hangs over both edges and shifts every time someone rolls over, and a Full wedge on a Queen leaves a hole at each end, which is exactly where the remote will find its way down.
Good to know
It closes the gap at the head of the bed and nothing else. A mattress that creeps toward the foot, a gap along the side rail, a headboard mounted high on the wall with daylight underneath it: none of those are what this shape solves.
