A dark yard swallows everything except the shapes that make their own light. This is a cut metal crescent moon with a fairy worked into the curve and a lit globe held inside it, on a stake that pushes into the ground, charged by the sun and lit from dusk.

Care
Wipe the panel when the glow starts fading early in the evening, since dust on the panel costs you more light than anything else does. Pull the stake up and store it dry before the ground freezes.
Good to know
The stake goes into a soft flower bed easily and into a dry August lawn not at all. Soak the spot first or open the hole with a screwdriver, and keep it off the gravel path.
The droplet swings on its wire, which means a windy night has it ticking against the moon. Charming at the far end of the garden, less so under a bedroom window.
