The large at 7.8 in (20 cm) clears a stack of two hardbacks. The small at 4.5 in (11.5 cm) sits below the eye line on a dining table, which is where a centerpiece belongs and where most of them fail.
Care
Wipe it with a soft cloth and stand it on a flat surface. An uneven shelf and a narrow base is how a full vase ends up on its side.

Sizes this small are for short arrangements. A supermarket bunch will want the large and will still need its stems cut down. Three stems from a garden suit the small. Nothing here takes a bouquet that arrived in cellophane at full length.
