Overhead light flattens a bookshelf. A small warm lamp standing on the same shelf gives the spines their depth back, and this one does that job as a resin bust of Medusa with a lit lantern hanging from her snakes.
- Cast resin bust, snakes worked into the hair and coiled at the neck
- Amber light rather than white, closer to a low filament than a bulb at full tilt
- The eyes carry the same glow as the lantern
- Reads as a sculpture in daylight and as a light source after dark
Specifications
- Power: USB
Good to know
This is accent light. It will tell you where the bookshelf is; it will not tell you what is printed on the spines, and reading by it is a reliable way to end up with a headache. Put it where you want a warm point in a dark corner, and leave the reading lamp where it already is.
Care
Dust the coils with a dry brush rather than a cloth. The snakes have undercuts that a cloth will only push lint into.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
