It is a half round mat with a printed mandala pattern, a textured face that holds grit and a backing that grips the floor, in two sizes.

Against a standard 36 in door the medium leaves a strip of floor showing at each side and the large sits close to flush. Depth is what you feel underfoot: 19 in gives you one step onto the mat, 23 in gives you two, and two steps is what actually takes the grit off a pair of boots.
Care
Shake it out weekly and vacuum across the pattern rather than along it, since a textured face holds grit sideways in the pile. When it needs more, rinse it with cool water and dry it flat. Hanging a wet mat over a rail puts a crease down the middle that never fully drops out.
Good to know
This belongs inside a doorway, in a kitchen or on a covered balcony. Left out in full sun and rain, a printed face gives up its colors long before the mat gives up its shape, so keep it under cover if you want the pattern to still be a pattern next summer.
