The opening sits in the crown of the hat, which means whatever goes in it stands above the brim and reads as part of the outfit rather than a bouquet parked in a pot. This is a woman's bust in cast epoxy resin, 8.6 in (22 cm) tall and 7 in (18 cm) wide, on a round base.
- Cast epoxy resin, made by hand, so small variations run piece to piece
- 8.6 in (22 cm) tall, 7 in (18 cm) wide, 6.7 in (17 cm) deep
- Opening set into the crown of the wide brimmed hat
- Five finishes, with two white versions to choose between
- The pose changes with the finish: hand at the brim on one, finger at the lips on another
Size
8.6 in (22 cm) tall, 7 in (18 cm) wide, 6.7 in (17 cm) deep. The base takes about the footprint of a side plate, so this is a mantelpiece or console object rather than something that tucks into a bookshelf. With stems in the hat it stands a good deal taller than the 8.6 in (22 cm) the resin accounts for, which is worth checking against a low shelf above.
Care
Hand wash it and dry it with a gentle cloth. Skip anything with a solvent in it: a resin surface takes a finish, and a harsh cleaner takes it straight back off.
In the box
The container on its own. Flowers are not included, and that is the decision to make before it arrives. Dried or artificial stems go straight into the crown. For fresh ones, drop a small glass down inside and fill that instead of the resin, which keeps standing water off the finish.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
