Two things happen at once here. The body glows with a jellyfish suspended inside it, and a projector throws a slow water ripple across the ceiling, so the light you notice is the moving one overhead rather than the lamp on the table.

Good to know

Projection needs a dark room and a plain surface. A white flat ceiling gives you the clean rippling water. A textured or popcorn ceiling breaks the pattern into speckle, and a lamp left on in the same room washes the whole effect out. Point it up from a nightstand or a low shelf, not from the floor across the room.

It lights a ceiling, not a book. Treat it as the last light on at bedtime and keep a real lamp for reading.

Care

Wipe the body and the projector lens with a dry microfiber cloth. Dust on a lens shows up as a smudge in the ripple, magnified across the whole ceiling.
