A drainage hole is the difference between a planter and a bowl you throw out in a year. This one has a hole in the base, which means a succulent goes straight in and you are not hiding a plastic nursery pot inside a decorative shell. The form is a sleeping face cast in recycled resin, in the manner of a classical sculpture, finished rough so no two castings look identical.

8.7 x 5.9 x 6.3 in (22 x 15 x 16 cm) is roughly the footprint of a cereal bowl at the height of a coffee mug. That is succulent, air plant, and small trailing pothos territory. A full size nursery pot from the garden center is not dropping into it, so plan on repotting whatever you buy.
Good to know
Resin handles rain and dislikes a hard freeze with wet soil packed inside it, because water expands and the crack starts at the thinnest part of the casting. Bring it in over winter, or plant it with something you would carry indoors anyway.
Care
Go over the rustic finish with a dry brush rather than a wet cloth. Texture like this holds water in the low spots and dries with a visible ring around whatever sat in it.
