The design is cut out of the disc rather than printed on it, so whatever is behind it becomes part of the picture. On a plain white wall the lettering reads clean from across the room. On patterned tile or a busy backsplash it turns to noise.
The disc is black, shaped like a record, with a stack of teacups filling one side and the words The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home cut through the surface. A small numbered dial sits in the middle of it, and the movement is silent, so nothing ticks at you across a quiet kitchen.
- Black cut out disc in a record shape.
- Silent movement, no ticking.
- Runs on one AA battery.
- Small numbered dial set into the center of the design.
- Lettering and teacups cut right through the disc.
Good to know
The dial sits inside the design instead of filling it, so the hands are small next to the piece as a whole. This is wall art that tells the time rather than a clock you read from the doorway with your hands full.
Measure the wall before you order and check the diameter against it. Between two cabinets, a clock has a fixed slot to live in, and cut out designs need clear wall behind them to read at all. Hung on tile, over a shelf, or against wallpaper, this one loses most of its detail.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
