Cuttings root in water in a few weeks, and most of the ones that fail do so for one of two reasons: a leaf left below the water line, or water nobody changed. A propagation vase handles the second by putting the whole operation at eye level where it is hard to ignore. This is a wooden stand carrying heart shaped glass bulbs, in one, two, or three bulb versions.
- Wooden base with heart shaped glass bulbs
- Single, double, or triple bulbs on one stand
- 2.4 in (6 cm) front to back, so it clears a narrow sill
- Also works for short wildflower stems or a windowsill herb
Size
| Style | Width | Height | Depth |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single | 5.3 in (13.5 cm) | 4.9 in (12.5 cm) | 2.4 in (6 cm) |
| Double | 7.9 in (20 cm) | 5.3 in (13.5 cm) | 2.4 in (6 cm) |
| Triple | 11 in (28 cm) | 5.3 in (13.5 cm) | 2.4 in (6 cm) |
The triple runs 11 in (28 cm) wide, about the long side of a sheet of letter paper, so measure the sill before you commit to it. All three sit 2.4 in (6 cm) deep, which is the number that decides whether the window closes over it.
Good to know
Keep the node under water and the leaves above it, and change the water weekly. Pothos, monstera, and philodendron forgive almost everything. Woody cuttings like rosemary and lavender rot before they root, in this or in anything else.
It is a water vessel, not a pot. Once roots run an inch or two, the cutting wants soil, and one left in glass for months sulks when you finally move it across.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
