Costume cloaks fail at the hem and at the hood. Too short and it reads as a cape from a kid's birthday party, too shallow and the hood sits on the back of your skull instead of framing your face. This one runs 58 in (147 cm) down the back, carries a Tree of Life and celestial print across the body, and is cut as a single size with a full hood.
- Hooded cloak, 58 in (147 cm) from shoulder to hem
- Tree of Life and celestial patterns printed across the body
- Full hood, worn up or pushed back onto the shoulders
- One size, cut loose enough to go over a jacket
Size
58 in (147 cm) of drop is roughly shoulder to ankle on an adult. Shorter than that and a cloak looks borrowed; longer and you find out which staircases you can handle. Expect the hem to brush the floor if you are on the shorter side, which is what you want in a photo and a nuisance in a crowded room.
Good to know
A cloak is a costume piece before it is a coat. It will do a lot in a photograph and very little against a cold night, so put a real jacket under it if the party moves outdoors. The hood also slides back the moment you turn your head fast, so pin it at the shoulder if you plan to dance in it.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
