It spins a stainless steel bristle head at three fixed speeds off a rechargeable battery, and charges over USB to Type-C rather than a proprietary plug you will lose.

Ninety minutes of battery is many cookouts' worth, since a grate takes a couple of minutes at most. The angle lock matters more day to day: a flat head skates over the top of round bars and leaves the underside of every one of them exactly as it was.

Care
Let the head cool, knock the ash out of the bristles and wipe the housing down. Charge it indoors. A lithium battery left in an unheated garage through winter loses capacity it never gets back.
