Wire spaced this closely throws a striped shadow up the wall behind it, and that shadow is most of what you are buying. A bare candle on a plate gives you light. This gives you a pattern.
The body is black iron, rounded like a barrel and open at the top, so a pillar candle drops in from above and sits low inside the cage.

The large one runs 7.9 in (20 cm) across and 9.1 in (23 cm) tall, about a basketball flattened at the top and bottom. It takes real table space. The small at 5.9 in (15 cm) tucks between a bowl and a stack of books without a fight.

Wipe wax off the wire with a warm cloth once it has hardened. Bare iron marks if you leave it wet, so keep it out of the sink and out of the rain.
