Gold Candle Holders, Six Heights or Set

Each stand is a slim metal column with a gold-tone finish, holding one candle at the top. Six heights are sold one at a time, plus two ready made groupings for people who would rather not do the arithmetic.

The Tall puts a flame 15.6 in (40 cm) above the wood, which lands at eye level for someone sitting down, so it belongs on a sideboard rather than between two plates. Keep the Short and the Medium in the middle of the table, where they light faces instead of hiding them.

Care

Let the wax harden, lift it off with a fingernail, then wipe the column with a warm cloth. A gold-tone finish thins under a scouring pad, and once it goes you are looking at the alloy underneath.
