Materials
Ceramic porcelain under a matte glaze. The weave is raised in the surface rather than printed on it, so it catches light along the ridges and reads as texture from across a room.
Care
Rinse it by hand and dry the inside. Standing water leaves a ring on any glaze, and a matte one shows that ring sooner than a gloss.
Good to know
Empty porcelain this tall tips easily under a top heavy arrangement. Fill it with water before you load it with heavy blooms, because the weight in the base is what keeps peonies from carrying it over the edge of the shelf.
