Materials

Borosilicate takes hot tap water without complaint, which counts for something because warm water is what brings a wilting stem back. The frosted surface reads matte from across a room and kills the reflection, so it sits closer to a window than clear glass can without turning into a lens.

Good to know

The bowl is a bowl. It will not hold a stem upright, so treat it as a place to float one bloom or park what comes out of your pockets, and pick one of the two vase shapes if you are buying for flowers.

Care

Wash by hand in warm water. Keep scouring pads away from the frosting: they burnish it into shiny patches, and those patches do not go back.
