Materials

Natural wood, polished by hand and finished for food contact. The carving follows the grain, which is why the same eagle reads differently on every board.

Care

Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it flat. Wood left standing in a wet sink cups and splits at the thinnest edges, and on this board the carved feathers are the thinnest edges.

Good to know

Wet food is what shortens a board like this. Marinated olives, soft cheese and anything sitting in oil want a small dish set inside the compartment, otherwise the wood takes the stain and keeps it.
