Polyester is why this cloth survives a table with children at it: a knocked glass sits on the surface for a moment instead of going straight through to the wood.
It is a printed floral cloth with a patterned border, made for a table you eat at rather than one you photograph once and then cover back up.

Care
Wash it cool and hang it to dry, because polyester comes out of a hot dryer with the creases set in. If it needs pressing, use a warm iron through a cotton cloth and keep the plate off the print.
Good to know
Printed polyester has a slight sheen under a ceiling light. If what you want is the matte, slubby surface of washed linen, this is not that cloth. What it does instead is hold its color through a wash cycle, wipe clean of a red wine ring, and come out of the drawer flat.
