Adhesive Animal Hooks for Fridge and Wall

These are light duty hooks, and the rating is the whole story: 0.55 lb (0.25 kg) each. That covers keys, a dish brush, a leash, an oven mitt. It does not cover a wet towel or a winter coat.

Each one is a soft PVC animal with a thin metal strip inside, so the tail bends out to make the hook and stays where you put it.

Size

At 5.2 in (13.3 cm) nose to tail, one hook is about the length of a table knife, and only the curled end of the tail does any hanging. Line three or four along the side of a fridge and they read as a row of animals climbing. Put one alone on a wide wall and it disappears.

Good to know

Adhesive needs a smooth, clean, dry surface. Textured wallpaper, raw wood and chalky paint let go within a week, usually in the middle of the night. Wipe the spot with alcohol first, press the hook flat for a slow count of ten, and hang nothing on it until the next morning.
