Standard folding tables are 6 ft long, and a loose cloth on one spends the afternoon being chased across the yard. This cover is cut to the table instead, and an elastic hem holds it down.

It pulls over a top of 72 x 30 in (183 x 76 cm) and stays flat without clips, tape, or a bowl of fruit on each corner.

One size, 72 x 30 in (183 x 76 cm), which is the 6 ft rectangular folding table sold at every hardware store and rented for every buffet. Measure your top before you order. On a shorter table the cover bags in the middle, and on a longer one the corners will not reach.

Good to know

The fit depends on square corners and a straight edge. A round table, a picnic table with attached benches, or a top with a thick lip underneath will all defeat the elastic. Indoors it works as a fitted cloth for a craft table or a folding buffet, which is where most of these end up living after the first summer.
