Good to know
A tall object on a narrow base does not forgive a passing hip. A hallway with traffic through it is the wrong home, and so is a spot beside a door that swings. Put it in a corner, behind a chair, or against a wall where nothing moves past it at speed.
Care
Dust the blade with a dry cloth along its length rather than across it, so grit does not get dragged sideways into the finish. Keep polish and solvent cleaners off it entirely: they lift color from an edge before you notice it happening.
