Size

Close to a sheet of letter paper, which is 8.5 x 11 in. A standard bookshelf takes it with room over the top; a narrow picture ledge does not. On an entry table it holds its ground next to a lamp instead of vanishing behind the shade.

Good to know

Resin polymer stone has the weight and the surface of cast stone and none of its patience with sunlight. Keep it off a sill that takes full afternoon sun, or the brown goes pale and chalky in a couple of summers.

Keep it indoors. Frost gets into any cast material through the smallest chip, and the open loop where the heart crosses the upright is the thinnest section of the casting, which makes it the first part to go if the piece tips over.

Dust it with a dry brush, not a cloth. Cloth snags on the entwined section, and detail like that collects dust exactly where a finger cannot reach.
