Good to know

Small and round is the shape it handles well. The bowl also sets the ceiling on a batch, so a party's worth of garlic goes through in loads rather than one pass, and anything long, fibrous or firmly attached to its skin is still a knife job on a board.

Care

Rinse the bowl and the blade assembly by hand and dry both before they go back together. The motor unit never goes near the sink: wipe the housing with a damp cloth and keep water out of the seam under the lid, where it has nowhere to drain.
