Textured Borosilicate Whiskey Glasses, Set of Two

Whiskey glasses live or die on the base. These are short, 3.3 in (8.4 cm) tall, with a wall pushed out of round on purpose so the texture catches light and hides fingerprints better than a smooth tumbler does.

Care

Dishwasher and microwave safe, with one exception that matters: the Trimmed Gold pair is neither. Gold on glass lifts in a dishwasher and arcs in a microwave. Wash that one by hand and it keeps its edge.

Good to know

No rim diameter and no base thickness were published. Borosilicate is thin walled by nature, which is why it survives temperature swings and why it does not carry the heavy bottom heft of a cut crystal rocks glass. Buy these for the texture and the weight in the hand, not for the thud on the table.
