Thick soaps and anything with scrub beads clog a novelty pump sooner than a plain bottle, so keep what you pour in on the thin side. Painted resin also dislikes standing water: park it back from the splash zone rather than tight against the faucet.
Care
Wipe the shell with a damp cloth and dry it. Skip the dishwasher and skip bleach sprays, because both attack painted resin, and the paint is the entire reason you chose a dinosaur over a plastic bottle.
