Molded resin cast in the shape of a folded pair of jeans, with the plant cavity sitting where the waistband would be. It works outside on a step or a patio table, in the spot where a plain round pot reads as filler.
Two poses are offered: sitting, with the legs stretched out front, and kneeling, which lifts the plant higher off the ground.
- Cast resin body with sculpted stitching and pocket seams.
- Faded, worn finish rather than a flat blue paint job.
- Resin takes sun and rain better than unsealed terracotta.
- Slide a nursery pot into the cavity instead of packing it with soil.
Good to know
Keep the planting low and trailing. Something tall and top heavy turns a light resin pot into a tipping problem on the first windy afternoon, and a plant that swallows the jeans defeats the reason you bought jeans.
Care
Rinse it with a hose and wipe the seams dry. Bring it under cover before a hard freeze: resin goes brittle in deep cold, and a hairline crack across a leg does not close again.
