Water is the thing this one does not do. The base plate is drilled to take stems and hold them upright, which suits dried and artificial flowers and turns into a puddle the moment you pour water in.
It is resin, in two sizes, and it doubles as a holder for brushes, pens and whatever else migrates onto a coffee table.

The tall one stands 11 in (28 cm), about a wine bottle, and reads from the far side of a room. The short one at 5.1 in (13 cm) is a coffee table piece you look down into. Both are shallow front to back, 3.1 in (8 cm) and 3 in (7.5 cm), so they sit against a wall without pushing into the room.
