Misting raises the humidity around a leaf for roughly as long as the water takes to evaporate, which is minutes. It suits orchids, ferns and air plants that want damp air, and it does close to nothing for a plant that needs water at the roots.
This one is ribbed glass with a pump top and a ring you hook a finger through.
- Glass body with a polypropylene pump and a finger ring.
- Holds 10 oz (300 ml).
- 6.3 in (16 cm) tall and 3.1 in (8 cm) across.
- Five colors, from clear and turquoise through violet and gold.
Size
6.3 in (16 cm) tall and 3.1 in (8 cm) across is roughly a jam jar, which is why it stays out on the plant stand instead of going back under the sink. 10 oz (300 ml) covers a shelf of small houseplants before you have to walk to the tap again.
Good to know
Glass is the point and the risk. It looks right beside a plant and it does not survive a drop onto tile, so fill it at the sink rather than carrying it full across a bathroom floor. The pump also wants a firm push to break into a fine mist. A half press gives you a jet and a wet windowsill.

About us
About us
Welcome to HollowMade. We hunt for the pieces that make a room worth walking into: vessels, lighting and sculpture, picked one at a time and kept on our own shelves.
Chosen, not listed - Every piece is handled and checked before it ships. If it would not earn a place in our own home, it does not make the catalogue.
Fair prices, quietly - We keep the range tight and the margins honest, so a good object costs what it should and reaches your door wherever you are.
A person on the other end - Write to us and someone reads it. Before the order, after the order, either way.
