A ventilated seat cover moves cabin air through the seat back and base. It does not refrigerate anything, so in a car left in full sun it pushes warm air around until the air conditioning catches up, and then it earns its keep for the rest of the drive.

Twelve fans sit under a perforated panel across the back and the base, and the same cushion runs a dual core massage from the panel underneath you.

Good to know

It is air movement, not cooling, and it works the way a desk fan works: it helps because your shirt is damp, not because the air got colder. Anyone hoping for a cold seat in a parked car at noon will be disappointed within a minute.

The cord runs to the same socket your phone charger normally uses, so plan on a splitter if you want both on a long drive.

Fit

Straps clip over the top of the seat back and hooks pull the base tight from below, which covers most car seats. The one to check before ordering is a seat with side airbags in the bolster, because a cover strapped across that panel is not something to guess at.
