Water poured down the middle of a fiddle leaf fig collects in the crown and starts the rot there. The 10 in (25.5 cm) reach from spout tip to handle exists so you can put the water on the soil instead, between the stems.

Size
It stands 8 in (20.5 cm) tall on a 4 in base, with a 2.2 in (5.6 cm) opening at the top. That is kettle sized, so it lives out on the shelf next to the plants rather than under the sink, which is the only reason a watering can ever gets used on schedule.

An opening of 2.2 in fills cleanly under a tap and fights a wide pitcher. Fill it at the sink and carry it, rather than the other way around.
51 oz is an indoor number. It waters a shelf of houseplants in one trip and runs dry halfway down a balcony of pots. If your watering happens outside in July, this is the wrong can and a hose is the right one.
Dry the outside after you fill it. Drops left standing dry into rings, and rings show most on the brown and the gold.
