Late in a pregnancy the front of the body stops being a surface you can rest on, and every position ends up being a side. This is an inflatable mat cut with an opening for the belly, a chest cutout above it and a face hole at the end, so lying face down becomes possible again.

Size

66.9 in (170 cm) long and 25.6 in (65 cm) wide, close to the length of a standard bath. That means floor space, a bed or a lawn, not a sofa cushion, and the lower half slopes away gradually so the legs sit below the hips rather than level with them.

The air pump is its own option here, so add one if you do not already own one; inflating this by mouth is not a job you want in the third trimester. Deflated it packs down to something that fits a beach bag, which is most of the reason to choose an inflatable over a foam wedge.

Lying face down while pregnant is a question for your midwife or doctor before it is a question of equipment. Ask first, especially in the later months, and stop at the point it stops feeling right.
